Mar 5th, 2008 Prismasonic introduces new HD-5000 series anamorphic lenses.

The New HD-5000 series replaces the preceding H-FE1500 lenses. Compared to the H-FE1500 series, the HD-5000 series accepts ~20 % bigger beams. Also the achromatic prisms have been further optimized, so that there exists NO chromatic in a working throw range (down to 1.5). The table stand is more professional having now the individual controls for the height and tilt adjustments.

Nov 20th, 2007 Prismasonic introduces new 2.37:1 curved video screens.

Prismasonic 2.37:1 curved home theatre screen's combination of high-grade material and mechanical engineering make it a welcome addition to Prismasonic's line of professional-grade Home Theatre applications. The screen surface provides high brightness, vivid colors, high contrast and a large viewing area. The unique 4- point tightening system makes it possible to use the non-elastic, extremely high uniform fabric as a screen material, and still achieve the 100% waveless surface. The attractive frames that are covered with the deepest black velvet trim to absorb any overspill light. Moreover, the viewing surface comes in direct contact with the beveled edges of the frames in order to prevent all the shadowing introduced by the frames. The screen fabric options have textile backed surfaces, where the reflective surface is laminated to a woven textile base. Available with High Contrast Gray (GAIN=0.85), Matte White (GAIN=1) and High Gain Silver (GAIN=3) surfaces.

Jul 27th, 2007 New H-450 model series has been released.

The H-450M replaces the preceding H-400M. It is similar to H-400M but now it has the adjustable prism stops for helping the swithing between the 'pass' and 'stretch' modes. The new lens also includes the removable bottom plate to make the cleaning of prims from both sides possible and also now there is a front element (FE) option possible for this lens.

The H-FE450M is similar to H-450M, but with the front element included.

The H-450M/H-FE450M lens can be further upgraded to H-FE700M or H-FE700R if wished.

Apr 13th, 2007 New H-400 model series has been released.

The H-400M replaces the preceding H-300M. It is similar to H-300M but now with the Anti-reflection coated prisms. The H-400M combines the economical price and the Prismasonic's high quality optics. The H-400M lens can be further upgraded to H-FE700M or H-FE700R if wished.

Feb 26th, 2007 New H-FE1500 and H-FE700 model serieses have been released.

Compared to the preceding H-1400 lenses, the H-FE1500 series has further optimized achromatic prisms still to decrease the chromatic aberration from former. An additional optical front element both in H-FE700 and H-FE1500 serieses increase the image sharpness to an extreme level, and also eliminates a slight focus shift between the 'stretch' and 'pass' modes.

Feb 26th, 2007 New H-300 model series has been released.

The economical lens model has been added to Prismasonic product line. With the price under 500 EUR it gives a good performance for those who want to build a 2.37:1 setup with little money. Even if the optics does not have AR coatings, the prisms of H-300 series have been finished by the optical glass using the highest possible surface accuracy parameters during the manufacturing process.

Oct 15th, 2006 New H-1400/H-700 model series has been released.

The housing of the new H-1400/H-700 series is now high quality aluminum finished. There are some minor cosmetic changes, which make the lens more attractive and professional looking. As a new feature there is now an easily removable bottom plate, so cleaning the prims from both sides is now possible if needed. Also now this new lens is available in black.

May 22th, 2006 Ceiling mounting bracket CB-100 has been released.

CB-100 is very easy to use, and it is suitable for attaching the Prismasonic lens to almost all digital projectors available. It is possible to attach the bracket both ceiling (also slanting) and wall. The use of extension arms is not necessary, so it is also possible to mount the bracket very close to the ceiling if needed.

Sept 9th, 2005 New H-1200/H-600 model series has been released.

--------------------------------

H-1200R (Remote controlled):

The prisms of H-1200R lens have been finished by the optical glass using the highest possible surface accuracy parameters during the manufacturing process. This means a crystal clear image with no optical artifacts. In addition to this the prisms are achromatic, which means that both prisms are made by two glass materials having different optical properties. This specific technology significantly reduces the chromatic aberration from the image. Moreover, all the optical surfaces have the anti-reflection coatings to maximize the light output of your projector.

The operation of H-1200R lens is very simple. The other button of remote stretches the image to 2.35:1 and the other squeezes it back to pass through mode. Also all the other aspects between those are also possible. There are adjustable terminal stops for the both prisms and both modes, so the tuning can be easily operated to match the different screens or setups perfectly.

The power for the lens unit is fed by the 12 volts AC/DC adaptor. The motors are very silent, and it takes about 3 seconds to go from end to end. This speed enables you also to stop the prisms quite accurate for example to 2.00:1 position.

Remote controller uses 12 volts battery. It has two powerfull IR leds, and can be controlled from the distance of about 5-10 meters from remote, via screen, to the lens unit. If one has an universal remote controller, it is possible to IR learn it.

----------------------------------------

H-1200M (Manual controlled):

This model is similar to remote model, but instead of remote control it has two knobs for the manual adjust between the 'pass' and 'stretch' modes. Also the prism stops are included to this model, in order to make the adjusting easier and also quicker.

------------------------------------------

H-600R (Remote controlled):

The H-600R lens is similar to H-1200R, but the prisms are not achromatic, and thus, depending on the projectors throw, there may exist some chromatic aberration on the edges of the screen.

------------------------------------------

H-600M (Manual controlled):

The H-600M lens is similar to H-1200M, but the prisms are not achromatic, and thus, depending on the projectors throw, there may exist some chromatic aberration on the edges of the screen.

Aug 11th, 2004 New H-1000 model has been released. It was designed to have advantages of horizontal stretch with minimal amount of chromatic aberration. Both prisms of lens are achromatic, which means that one prism is made by two prisms having different glass material, polarity and angle. Also the anti-reflection coatings are on each surface to prevent reflections.

Jul 16th, 2004 Prismasonic and club Audiopoli start to co-operate. Prismasonic is showing their products at the Audiopoli’s cinema room, which has seats for 30 person audience. Demos are on every thursday at 18-20pm

Mar 3rd, 2004 New H-500 and V-500 models have been released. They are similar to 200-series, but Anti-Reflection Coatings have been added. Anti-reflection coatings prevent the reflections and increase the light output about 15%.

Mar 12th, 2003 New H-200 and V-200 models have been released. They are made by the high accuracy, optically handled solid glass prisms. The 200-series replace the 100-series.

Jan 1st, 2003 New H-100 and V-100 models have been released. They both are based on the liquid filled prisms with high accuracy , optically handled glass optics. 100-series replaces the older lens models made by acrylic prisms.
